14:30From Cylinder to CD - An illustrated talk by Joe Pengelly, ex-BBC South West radio newsreader and tv presenter. His hobby of sound recording and collecting historical recordings and 'talking' machines for nearly fifty years has led him to become an authority on sound recording history. He has given many lectures at venues including the British Institution and the Library of Congress in the United States.
